Our story so far...

Gunga Jim shows the best of the worst, adds jokes, sarcasm, rude noises, or anything else he thinks is funny as hell.

How it all began--

Gunga's Drive In premiered on cable access in Bloomington, Indiana on Halloween 2002. The public outcry was anon...er...unanimous: Stop it! But he didn't. He kept doing "the bad thing" and added more movies with riffing, sound effects and other nonsense, eventually revealing his true persona, that of a has-been gameshow host/used car salesman who was off his meds. The movies are vetted as much as possible to be A: cinematically questionable and B: Public Domain (because getting sued is not profitable unless you're going into politics).

The present--

Gunga's Drive In no longer runs on local cable access (due to a station staff member wanting to start his own horror hosted show), so Gunga decided to go national and started attending horror movie conventions and selling much needed novelties (like x-ray specs, rubber chickens and remote-controlled fart machines) as well as DVD copies of his movies. Twice per year, he attends the Cinema Wasteland convention in Strongsville, Ohio and premieres a new episode each time to a growing audience of fans (only some of whom are on day passes from local institutions.)
